Bow River Meat Market began as a family-owned company based in Calgary in 1976. We believe in the value of products made in Canada; our country has some of the finest natural resources, and we’re proud to support the local economy and farming industry. During the past four decades, we’ve built relationships with local restaurants and retailers that rely on the consistency and quality of our meats to deliver excellence to their own customers. Filling custom orders and ensuring top-notch quality has set us apart from our competitors time and time again.


A few years ago, we began thinking about what it would take to bring the restaurant experience into the homes of consumers. We were troubled by the significant gap that existed between fresh and frozen meat products found in grocery stores, and our own quality cuts. This eventually set us on a mission to revolutionize the meat supply industry by bringing restaurant-quality meats to everyone. One of the things that sets us apart from our counterparts is our exclusive, optimal aging process. Our “Cornerstone Aging” guarantees the quality that other meats are lacking.
